The Woodward City/Co. Office of Emergency Management consists of 1 paid staff, five commissioned volunteer
reserve officers, and a number of special teams. Teams are led by one Reserve Officer assigned to manage and
maintain that team and its equipment. Teams may consist of smaller groups called units. Within those units may be
specialized divisions.
WOODWARD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT TEAMS
Disaster Response Teams (DiRT):
-District 1 Disaster Response Unit
-Supervised by Reserve Officer Jay Krukenburg
-Consists of 20 volunteers from District 1 based in Mooreland
-District 2 Disaster Response Unit
-Supervisor Position Open
-Consists of 20 volunteers from District 2 based in Sharon
-District 3 Disaster Response Unit
-Supervised by Reserve Officers Les Loomis and Tammy Loomis
-Consists of volunteers from District 3 based in Woodward.
-Includes the Woodward High School Disaster Response Unit
Search, Rescue and Recovery Team (Air/Land/Water)
-Supervised by Reserve Officer Bill Kline
-The Search and Rescue Team has three seperate divisions, which include air, land and sea rescue and
recovery specialists. Those units are the Dive Unit, the Air Search Unit, and the Land Search Unit, which
includes the ATV Division and the Equestrian Division.

Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Crew (Mass feeding, personnel support, debris removal)
Salvation Army Disaster Services (Mass feeding, individual support)
