This page is dedicated to the fallen men and women in Woodward County who served in a full-time or volunteer
capacity with Law Enforcement, Fire/Rescue Services, Emergency Medical Services, or Emergency Management who
have passed on.
Monty Clem, Former Woodward Police Officer, Woodward
County Undersheriff and Okla. State Medical Examiner,
passed away in 2006.
Choc Ericsson, Senior Agent, Oklahoma Bureau of
Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs, passed on in 2005 in the
Line of Duty.
Creel Gaston, Sheriff, Woodward County Sheriff's Office,
passed on from a Line of Duty injury in 1986.
Leroy Jacks, Trooper, Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Clifford Hunter, Detective, Woodward Police Department.
Jerry Castor, Chief, Woodward Fire Department, passed
away in 1998.
Bill Stewart, Agent, Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and
Dangerous Drugs, passed on in 1985 in the Line of Duty.
Bill Young, Trooper, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, passed
on in 1978 in the Line of Duty.
Melvin Gaston, Former Chief of the Woodward Fire
Department and Administrator for Woodward County
E.M.S., passed on in 2001.
