We hang our hat upon our level of preparedness for severe weather, being rated as one of the most prepared areas in the State. We have an extensive public warning system, which includes not only outdoor warning sirens in populated areas, but also NOAA Weather Alert Radio and the ReCoN Public Alert Radio system.
